Your Right to Erasure

Under GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable laws, you have the right to request deletion of all personal data we hold about you — including data collected through our WhatsApp Business messaging service, web platform, and any integrations.

We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion by email.

What Data We Delete

Upon a verified deletion request, we permanently remove:

  • WhatsApp conversation data: All inbound messages, journey state, onboarding step data, Human Design profile inferred from your conversation, and your phone number from our WhatsApp journeys records
  • Account information: Name, email address, profile photo, bio, and any preferences
  • Behavioural signals: Browsing patterns, click events, and AI interaction logs associated with your account
  • Communications: Re-engagement emails sent, notification history, in-app messages
  • CRM data: Any contact record created in our CRM on your behalf

Note on environmental attestations: Impact attestations such as CSR plastic credits are minted by Corsair directly on the Ethereum blockchain and cannot be deleted due to the immutable nature of blockchain. All other database records and off-chain user indicators will be deleted completely upon request.

How to Request Deletion

Option 1 — Email (recommended)

Send an email from the address linked to your account (or include your phone number if you only interacted via WhatsApp):

Subject: Data Deletion Request
Body: Please include your name, email address, and/or WhatsApp phone number so we can locate and delete your records.

Option 2 — WhatsApp

Send the message "DELETE MY DATA" to our business WhatsApp number. Our system will automatically mark your journey for deletion and our team will confirm within 30 days.

Option 3 — Account Settings

If you have a Depollute NOW! account, go to Dashboard → Settings → Delete Account. This triggers immediate account anonymisation and a 30-day data purge cycle.

Deletion Timeline

  • Within 3 business days: Confirmation email sent acknowledging your request
  • Within 14 days: Active data deleted from primary databases
  • Within 30 days: Data purged from backups and third-party processors notified
  • Confirmation: Final email confirming complete deletion

Data We May Retain for Legal Reasons

In limited circumstances, applicable law requires us to retain certain records even after a deletion request:

  • Financial transaction records (7 years for tax compliance)
  • Records required by ongoing legal proceedings
  • Anti-fraud records where required by law

In these cases, we will inform you of what we retain and the legal basis for doing so.
